A nightmare

My wife thought this nightmare that I had had last night was quite funny, though I didn't.  I was in Pittsburgh for some kind of a workshop or conference.  But I was too busy socializing with all the people I know in Pittsburgh, so I suddenly realized I had missed all of the actual workshop or conference events.  (And then there was a nightmarish bit of trying to catch the bus, hoping I'd still make it to the last session.)

Haha ya know, I have a recurring dream in which I sign up for a biology course and miss every class of the semester. It's strange, since I never took biology...

Doug, I can empathize. I too have a recurring dream where I am in college again and know that I have missed a class all semester and I am scrambling to make up what I missed.

And, keeping with this theme. Every so often I have another nightmare where I am walking through an open field and there's a pride of Lions in the distance and I'm praying as I walk that they will not notice me and come after me. Probably, and insecurity I have somewhere. Weird, I know.

Yes, I can see how trying to catch the bus in Pittsburgh at the last minute would be nightmarish. ;)

I had the never-been-to-class dream, too, for many years. But it stopped somewhere around when I got tenure.

It was a physics or math class.
